The latest news and race reports from the championship.

Michael Watton extended his 2018 Speed Group F1000 Championship lead as he took a clean sweep of wins at Castle Combe.

Former Champion, Rob Sayell, made it two wins out of three at Rockingham, in his final outing in the Speed group F1000 Championship before retiring.

Michael Watton got back to winning ways at Cadwell Park taking both race victories over the weekend and putting himself back into the championship lead.

The Speed Group F1000 Championship moved to Snetterton for the second race meeting of the season, and the racing action produced three different winners from the three races run!

Michael Watton kicked off his 2018 title defence in commanding fashion, taking a hat trick of wins at the opening Speed Group F1000 race weekend at Brands Hatch. The reigning Champion Started Race 1 from pole and was never challenged as he built up a solid lead amounting to over 6 seconds at the chequered flag.

The Virtual Racing Association will be hosting the newly created eSports championship owned by F1000 Ltd that will run alongside the Speed Group F1000 Championship.

F1000 has agreed title sponsorship for the 2018 season with Speed Group, a multi-faceted international group whose services include race engine build services at its facility in Littlehampton.

Michael Watton did exactly what he needed to do in the opening race of the weekend at Oulton Park to secure the 2017 F1000 title, however the second and last race of the season didn’t quite go as planned for the newly crowned champion.

Michael Watton took a step closer to the 2017 F1000 title at the latest race meeting at Rockingham, but was outscored over the course of the weekend by reigning champion Rob Sayell.
