It's the biggest karting Show of the year and the F1000 Championship with our new team Chiron World Sportscars was there, displaying the Jedi Racing car as raced by the 2000 Formula A World Champion, Colin Brown.
As expected F1000 was a big attraction and, along with the Locost, RGB Sports 1000 and 116 Trophy Endurance cars also on display with the 750 Motor Club, there was a constant trail of interest over the weekend.
“It was one of the best Shows I’ve done for years,” said Henry Nickless of Chiron World Sports Cars. “It certainly put the Championship on the map. It was also special having Colin’s car here when his Kart from 2000 was also on display!”
Championship Manager, Frazer Corbyn agreed. “It was humbling to find out one team travelled a long distance to the Show with their list of questions just to meet us. But then we met many others who’d never heard of the Jedi or F1000 and that’s really satisfying as well as it all helps build awareness.”
Barely time to rest as the next show will be Autosports International 10 – 13 January 2019 where F1000 will be on the 750 Motor Club Stand.
